just tired.......

OK i don't get this girl!! it has been a month since Lana stopped the pacifier and bottle at night but since then she has to cry in bed for like 10 min until she falls a sleep!! it is soooo n beyond annoying!!! it became like part of her routine or something!! i tried to make her sleep with her teddy bear but she kept throwing it away, i used to put her in bed, say i love u n good night n then leave to read with zaid, now after i brush her teeth, change her diaper n clothes, i give her a big hug n sing to her..she LOVES it she hugs me back so strong and have a big smile on her face..soo cute.. at the same time i tell zaid to read the story loud so i can hear him while giving Lana some love, here i feel like I'm giving her a piece of me..and i put her in her crib and she is smiling and there is no prob.....but after i close the door thinking that's it tonight the girl is fine..i hear her cry! why why whyyyyyyyyyyyyy. but i just have to ignore her now..i go next to zaid to memorize new ayat. we are in surat الغاشية now mashallah.

But i have to say, stopping the pacifier was good and bad at the same time:/ i see little changes in her. for example, during the day she used to play by herself and i wouldn't feel her, she did not like to give hugs alot..now she became cranky somehow..the other day when i went to pick zaid, she wanted me to carry her n refused to walk! if she got upset she comes to me and wants to sit in my lab! but before the pacifier used to sooth her more! and now the crying part at night...ahh alhamdulilah!

Last night was good..had a date night with Ammar and Mohamad stayed home..we had some light dinner then saw a movie, big mama 3! we had fun alhamdulilah. it was just nice to be alone..walking together and holding hands, simple things that we miss to refills our busy souls subhanallah!

alhamdulilah for everything and may Allah protect our families and all Muslims around the world..

Finally the Egyptian did it yesterday 2/11/2011 after 18 days of protesting! I just left the house taking zaid to school when Ammar called n told me...I turned the radio n wanted to stop the car n scream in the streets....it was the BEST feeling ever.......i was clapping n laughing in disbelief..zaid was confused;) This is amazing...I'm so happy to witness this day of history...GO PEOPLE..Eygypt revelotion has SO many lessons to learn from...the favorite is the unity that people showed, peaceful, organized in a way....this is amazing....just amazing...so excited to see this country building itself....n i can't wait for the rest of Pharaohs to go down INSHALLAH...it's about time.
