Camp 2010 :)

We just got back from the camp:)) we had a greaaaaaaaat time alhamdulilah. When we left i was really worried about the weather, we heard it might rain and be a freezing one! but THANK GOD the weather was good.It was not warm but it was the usual every year mountain cold:)
Ammar drove the big bus that fits around 15 passengers!but it only had the 4 of us..the rest of the bus was all the food items for the 300 people attending the camp it was quite a scene inside this bus:D
We had a greeeat time alhamdulilah...it was very smooth camp..we met some new people, old friends, and some of the usual ICH family members=)

Every time i asked some of the new people how they like our camp? they all give me the same answer,"it really feels like family":)
the weather was good, the programs were nice, the family games were hilarious especially when they had wife/husbands team lol the women actually did win twice playing pulling the robe game lol
The only thing missing in this camp was my baba,i missed his beautifully lectures mashallah and his green tea:) so many people came up to me and told me that too,Allah ykhalelna yak baba.
This time we did something new with the women, my friend from the women committee came so we planned some games for the women. Usually we only play basketball and it is so funny but not all women like to do that, so we put all the women in the big hall, divided them into 2 teams, and played pictionary! It was hilarious..some women were playing it at 2am :D

I have to say i LOVED the new rule this year!the no plastic cups. every year people use the cups unrealistically..one person comes to drink water and then throws it away! can u imagine what happens when there is 300 people!! the camp site turns into trash and the wast of cups is crazy no matter how you talk to people it's always a problem! So this year they told people there will be no cups, everyone should bring their own cup...and NO they can't bring the disposable ones ;) some people complained and some were supportive...BUT seriously at the camp everyone felt the difference! the camp was soooooooo clean! I never had to bend over to pick up a cup! It's crazy how different it was!

The entertainment night was funny..they did the hidden camera and used people in camp :D
Alhamdulilah overall the camp this year was really beautiful i wanted to stay another day..I'm not sure why is it different! but I've noticed this time there weren't many youth there! maybe that's why! no drama ;)
Thank God tomorrow there is no school, Zaid has 2 weeks for spring break so next Monday will start school again..may Allah be with me ;)
