Stuff..Happy Birthday Zaid, and Me!

wow, hmmm im trying to remember what happens since my last post:) haha ok so in summary, Ramadan was very busy, hard, and sooo fast. Eid was soo good cus my brother is here and zaido mashallah got lots of gifts from family. And school AHHHH i can't wait for those 5 weeks to finish so i can relax. From all five classes that im taking right now, i only like one class which is Child Psychology. it is soo good and im happy that im taking it now cus of zaido. it is very nice to learn some stuff where u can apply it to your kids and see the development and different stages they go through. Like we learned why kids ages 2-5 for example don't like Halloween or feel scared, well simply because they can't distinguish fake from reality; they have what is called (egocentricity) which means they can only see things from their own perspective. so if you brought a cat and put a mask of a dog on its face and asked the kid what is it, then they think it's a real dog....etc I just love those different studies they do with kids:) its fascinating! Plus it helps momys understand their kids more! I was thinking maybe i should write on my blog what i learned in this class and make a summary for myself so i can go back to it when i need it inshallah! oh they also did a new study, like 2 months ago about those "baby Einstein videos" on kids who watch them, and they found some interesting results about how they might affect kid's linguistic ability...etc u can Google it and read the whole study!

Any way, i wana write about the most important thing happened last week. My love Zaido just turned 3!!! my baby is growing so fast mashallah! and i felt like i had to make a party for him this time. 3 is a big deal...even though i was super busy that week with papers and exams, i knew that if i didn't do anything for him that i will regret it so much later, so i invited some friends who have kids his age, and threw a little party for his majesty lol. alhamdulilah it was alot of fun...i was looking all over the Internet for Elmo outfit so i can wear it and let the kids have fun but couldn't find NONE even thought Halloween was here!!! and i called those party organizer but hey im not gona pay this much of money!!! but i really wanted that Elmo ghh.............. so a day before the party i was looking to buy the cake and Walaaaa, i found in the store's catalog an Elmo design so i was soo happy, i ordered it and here it is, or was:

isn't cute :) so ya that was the most important day that made me wana write on the blog! ah when everybody started sining to him...i got really emotional!! he is really growing up too fast and i can only pray to God to protect and guide my baby in this life and help us raise him as a good, strong, proud muslim inshallha. ameen.

ehm, on another note, this past Friday i turned (27) whoow ya i know im getting there people! i noticed that my birthdays are coming on Fridays hmmm!! interesting... its the busiest day for my hubby at work, but we celebrated it on Saturday... we had the masjid picnic then at night my brother put zaido to sleep, then my sweet husband took me to a new place in Santa Monica....it was nice..we ended up going to a comedy place and we had a great night alhamdulilah... i felt special;)

so ya those are some updates! i have more homeworks, paper to do...so please keep us in ur duaa..
