My kids went through the same routine as Zaid coming home from school even though it was noon time pre-K. Full time Kindergaren is worth it. My kids literally fell asleep in the car on their way home. Even now in First grade my one comes home and while relaxing on the sofa/floor falls asleep watching t.v. I was told not to let my litle ones sleep after they come home from school but then they become all grouchy/moody and show tantrum. So I had to let them sleep.
Have you tried giving him a bath before bed time? Someone told me leave bath time and lotion rubbing for night sa it helps them fall asleep.

thank u for ur nice comment..it's very comforting to hear that zaid is not the only one and it's normal..i'm trying to keep him busy so he doesnt take the nap,it's working but i dont guarantee that it will work ALL the time! i can totally hear u about the kids being so moody! i've been taking him to the park, come home, take a bath,eat, then sleep.and homework time is usually before the food or like yesterday, he asked me to do it shortly after he came from school, which was perfect:) thank u ALOT :)
